Concerts Across America is a uniquely-School of Rock camp concept wherein young musicians from across America come together in a remote environment to learn together, record together and host a live streaming concert at the end of the camp week.
Students will spend Monday through Wednesday learning and practicing songs. Campers and their songs will be recorded on Thursday for a live stream of their concert on Friday.
In addition to learning to play the songs, students will also learn how to use a Digital Audio Workstation to collaborate with other musicians.
Nine weekly camps to choose from. Seven camps are theme-based cover music camps. Two camps are Songwriting camps in which the campers will write and record their own original music.
Camps are each 5-days (Monday – Friday) 9:00am – 2:45pm Central Time
To participate in Concerts Across America Camps, students should have a basic proficiency on their instrument.
Students need a device to record their song parts for the creation of a full band recording. This can be as simple as a mobile phone with voice memo recording or a DAW such as GarageBand.
Students need access to their primary instrument at home.
Great for students 10-18 years old WITH PREVIOUS music instruction.
For students not currently enrolled in School of Rock, a free Remote Trial Lesson is required to assess the student for camp placement. (Call us at 952-934-7625 to set this up).
