Skye Farm Camp and Retreat Center

Set in the tall pines of the Adirondack Park, our site boasts over 400 wooded acres with a gorgeous view of Sherman Lake. Open for a wide variety of retreats in the spring and fall, in the summer months Skye Farm Camp and Retreat Center operates as a residential Christian summer camp.

Our offerings include over 30 programs for children and youth, ages 7-18, which vary in length from a couple of days to a week long. In addition to all of the “camp favorites” like swimming, arts and crafts, basketball, volleyball, and hiking, we offer tons of unique specialty programs and activities! During the summer, we also offer multiple 3-day programs for children aged 3-6 with their parent/guardian.

Camp gives children a solid foundation that lasts a lifetime, and equips youth for success at school, at home, at church, and in the world by building them up and giving them the gifts of confidence, faith in God, and a healthy self-esteem.

Our programs are run and campers are cared for by a group of people who are passionate about the effect they can have on a camper’s life. Our mission is to live the gospel of Jesus Christ and to be God’s love with our neighbors in all places, and our approach to communicating with campers about faith comes down to the three truths:

1. There is a God.

2. God loves you.

3. God wants a relationship with you.

Skye Farm Camp and Retreat Center is one of five camp and retreat centers owned and operated by the Upper New York Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. Camp & Retreat Ministries is led by staff and volunteers, supervised by The Executive Director of Camp & Retreat Ministries and overseen by the Committee on Camp & Retreat Ministries.
