Introductory Level

Designed for children ages 9 – 11 with an interest in theatre. No experience or training required.

This workshop provides an opportunity for children to explore creativity and storytelling in a professional theatre setting. Children have a fun and unique experience learning and working along side artists who have performed on Lamb’s Players Theatre Stages. The safe and supportive environment provides exposure to the theatre arts while helping students build confidence in expressing their own ideas and imagination. Through theatre games, improvisation, and music — the class works together to perform a showcase inspired by their classwork during the week.

Intermediate Level

Designed for students ages 12-14 with a strong interest in theatre arts.

This workshop is like a “back stage pass” to the professional world of theatre for young people. Students will work along side artists who have performed on Lamb’s Players Theatre Stages, as well as designers and directors. The supportive and collaborative environment provides an “insider’s look” at the art of theatre, all the while encouraging the expression of their own ideas and imagination. Through creative dramatics, improvisation, music and writing–the class works together as an ensemble to develop a showcase inspired by their original work during the week.
