Building Video Games and Learning? Code Ninjas to Debut First
Dallas Location to Teach Local Kids Coding in a Cool Way
Code Ninjas Center Opens March 23 and Focuses on Code Ninjas, Robotics, Drones, and other STEM Activities
DALLAS, Texas. (March 9, 2021) – Say the words “video game” and your kids are bound to stop and listen. The local owners of a new Code Ninjas, a learning center that debuts March 23 at 11661 Preston Rd., Ste. 250 in Preston Hollow, know that video games aren’t only fun, but educational. Code Ninjas will serve the North Dallas area by teaching children computer coding and problem-solving skills while having fun building video games.
The new center has limited spots open for founding families where they can sign up at the lowest rate offered and enrollment is currently also open for summer camps, which will run for 10 weeks from June 7-August 13.
To ensure the safety of all Ninjas, parents, and Senseis, Code Ninjas is taking extra precautions. The center will be thoroughly cleaned routinely, on a daily basis by employees. Devices, tables, door handles, bathrooms, and other frequently-used surfaces will be sanitized throughout the day. There will be an increased distance between individual student workstations in the dojo, as well as careful monitoring and enforcement of no-contact interactions.
The Preston Hollow location is owned and operated by Texas natives Jimmy and Lisa Tran. Jimmy worked in Corporate America for 15 years. After leaving his corporate job in April 2020, Jimmy immediately pivoted towards his dream of owning a small business. Things came together when Jimmy was introduced to Code Ninjas during a visit to his hometown, which is 10 minutes down the road from the Code Ninjas headquarters in Pearland, Texas. With three kids of their own and Lisa having a background working in education at Southern Methodist University, the Trans knew Code Ninjas would be a great fit in the community. This is their first location, with plans to expand in the future.
“We enrolled our kids in a Scratch coding workshop and quickly learned the positive impact coding can have on children,” said Jimmy. “Code Ninjas provides kids with the opportunity to learn how to code and build video games while learning life skills and having fun, which is why we are thrilled to open the first Dallas location.”
Dallas children ages 4-14 can look forward to visiting the new Code Ninjas center to learn how to code in a fun, safe, and social learning environment where gaming is celebrated, and STEM is cool. Everything about Code Ninjas
