River City Bowl-A-Way was established in 1979 by Tom and Jo Schwaiger. Tom and Jo moved from Bryan, Ohio, to Napoleon in 1968 and bought Paul’s Bowl-A-Way on North Scott St. before opening River City in Nov. of 1979.

Tom and Jo had 4 children Paul, Vicky, Jolene, and Randy. Paul and Randy still own and Operate River City Today. Their bowling center has 24 lanes, a snack bar, a lounge, and a game room. The lanes are new AMF SPL 2 synthetic lanes and also newly purchased scoring upgrade to Touch Score 3.
