YMCA Camp Eberhart has been a treasured destination for children and families for more than 100 years. With 200 wooded acres, and a mile of shoreline on beautiful Corey Lake in Three Rivers, Michigan, we provide a lifetime’s worth of skills and experiences.
We strengthen the foundations of our communities through summer camp, specialty camps, year-round programs, and camping activities for all.
A Leader Among Camps
While always holding some traditions dear, YMCA Camp Eberhart has consistently been a leader in the camping industry and remains so to this day. The first YMCA camp in the country to offer a summer camping program for young women, YMCA Camp Eberhart went fully co-educational in the 1970s. Today, the camp serves both children and adults year-round.
One Mission
Staying true to our roots, our mission is to provide impactful outdoor experiences where people learn new skills, gain independence, and grow as an individual in a beautiful and natural environment.
What Makes Us Different?
So many things! For instance, programs at YMCA Camp Eberhart are proficiency-based. Campers advance upon their mastery of various activities. This helps create a powerful learning experience and empowers our campers in meaningful ways. Inspired by their experiences at Camp, our campers have become NASA employees, Olympic athletes, and even professional sailors. YMCA Camp Eberhart also boasts one of the country’s only Astronomy Camps, and has been visited by professional astronomers from coast to coast! Our Equestrian Program is also second to none, with an amazing herd of horses, professional staff, and miles of beautiful trails to explore. And with a mile of shoreline, we have one of the largest Sailing Programs in the country.
Traditional Overnight Camp
YMCA Camp Eberhart is our flagship program. For 109 years, our summer program has safely allowed children to learn new skills, belong to something bigger than themselves, and create lifelong friendships.
Campers and parents select from a variety of programs prior to attending camp. Our emphasis on skill development and progression sets YMCA Camp Eberhart apart from other camps. Campers are not only encouraged to participate in activities but to gain a new level of proficiency. In addition to activities they’re passionate about, our open period allows them to experience additional activities in Camp.
Summer Day Camp
Give Your Child The Best. Summer. Ever. If you’re looking for an alternative to traditional childcare for the summer, Day Camp at YMCA Camp Eberhart is next to none, providing an amazing experience for children ages 4-12.
