We’ve designed our camp to inspire the whole kid. At Camp EDMO™, kids develop their creative capacity, unleash their inner scientist and technologist, and plumb the mysteries of the natural world.
They lose themselves in STEAM-infused activities designed in concert with experts from brilliant museums. But there’s a deeper level.
Ultimately, our camp experience inspires young people to accept themselves and others, push their boundaries with confidence and, most importantly, act with real kindness and compassion. Kids grow on lots of levels.
Since 2004, we’ve impacted more than 100,000 kids. Behind all the fun and growth and learning is a beautiful thing we call The EDMO Method™. Developed in partnership with staff at UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center, our method introduces campers to positive mindsets that lead to positive skills that, over time, blossom into positive character traits.
Every year, we help create a new generation of young people with the spirit and skills to improve our world.
Something else hugely important happens at camp – it’s called “fun”. Kids learn and grow fastest when they’re enjoying themselves. That’s why we make camp irresistibly enjoyable.
Each week is packed with theme days and dress-up days. Each day is loaded with camp rallies, songs, and cheers for younger campers — and, of course, hipper fun for older EDMO™ Pro campers. The ringleaders are our magnificent instructors and staff, carefully culled from the best local schools and colleges.
These inspiring young people exude joy and warmth, serving as role models and champions for every single camper.
